Lewis & Clark
Trail

Lewiston
Idaho

Top left, and left; a section of the map and numbered legend in the Lewis & Clark Discovery Center exhibit room. It shows both trails, west and east. Red - west, brown - east.
The Camp Chopunnish exhibit is in the interpretive plaza. It pays tribute to a major highlight of the return trip through Idaho. The Corps resided here for a longer period than any other place except for the three forts - Dubois (Illinois), Mandan (North Dakota), and Clatsop (Oregon). Walkway light, above continues the rugged theme and Native American design.
