A walk along Frontier Park's walkways provides excellent views
of the Missouri River. As the small flotilla approached, "a
number Spectators french & Indians flocked the bank to See the
party..." according to Clark's journal dated May 16, 1804.
They would be seeing and shooting plenty of geese on this journey,
right. A rusty boat doesn't exactly resemble the keelboat, top right,
but contributes scenic atmosphere.
